Dr. Nelson tells every nervous child they’re being brave. Even when they’re not. That’s not a performance, it’s the kind of dentist he is. While he’s board-certified in pediatrics, trained specifically in child behavior and development, the real magic happens when your child is in the chair.
That’s because when Dr. Nelson built his team, there was one thing he looked for above everything else: do they actually enjoy being around children? And do they have the patience to work with parents who are worried about their child?

We started with a vision of exactly how this place should feel (from the layout to the size of every room), and then we built our office around that.

Our rooms aren’t just rooms, they’re entirely new worlds. A circus, a safari, a train, a spaceport, and an African savannah – all inside our dental practice!. Our preschool play area is a carnival funhouse with crazy mirrors and little games where your kids can move around, and there are video games in our waiting room.
In the treatment rooms, there’s a TV over every chair, so whether it’s your child’s turn, they’ll pick what they want to watch, put on their headphones and their little sunglasses, and settle in.
This makes the hardest part for many of our patients when their show ends, and it’s time to leave!
We also made a decision that matters to a lot of parents: you’re in the room for every procedure. There’s no mystery about what’s happening to your child.
